Making: A list of things I don't want to forget while packing for my trip to California this weekend. (Woohoo!!)

Baking: Egg muffins for my husband to have for breakfast while I'm gone. So easy, but full of protein and veggies to help him kick-start his day. If you're a recipe kind of person, Pinterest has some really great ones! Or, you can just do what I did and chop up whatever veggies you have in the fridge, whisk up some eggs, and bake in a muffin tin at 350 for 20(ish) minutes.

Drinking: Cold brewed coffee. I have just recently been introduced to this fabulous concoction and I am fully converted. More about cold brewed coffee plus a tutorial on how I make my own here!

Reading: Little Women. Yes, I might be a bit of a slow reader. But no harm done in savoring lovely things, right?

Studying: Numbers 23-25. Particularly the passage where the LORD opens the mouth of Balaam's donkey and she speaks. I often stumble over my words, especially when speaking in public. These verses have been a great encouragement to me this week. I am reminded that if God can speak through a donkey to make a point and display his glory, surely he can speak through me, no matter what the situation.

Feeling: Excited to see the people I love most in the whole wide world tomorrow!! But I'm also feeling sad to leave my husband... (whom I also love most in the whole wide world)

Thinking: about how thankful I am for simple, everyday little blessings that I tend to take for granted like hot water, painted toenails, and the beautiful view from my back porch.

Enjoying: The warm spring sunshine and a fresh haircut.

Planning: Meals for Ryan and writing out detailed instructions on things like how to start the dishwasher and where the extra toilet paper is.

Listening: to a mix of Michael Buble and Josh Turner. If ears could smile, mine would be beaming.

Working: on finishing up my little office that will be my home-base for a business that I'm starting up sometime in April. (Stay tuned for more details!)

What have you been up to lately, friend?
